Westside Vancouver Detached Property Market Update : March 1 - March 8
We would like to present ‘Westside Detached Stat Package’ for the week of March 1 - March 8.
The Westside Detached market strengthened on the both the supply and demand side this past week as the markets continued to move towards stability and supply-demand equilibrium. New detached supply numbers increased from the 58 we saw in the previous week to 64 new detached listings this period. The supply was fairly even through most neighbourhoods with a high of 6 new detached listings in South Granville, and relatively even showing for Dunbar, Kerrisdale, and Point Grey with approximately 5-6 new listings in each neighbourhood. The numbers have been fairly consistent across the Westside Detached market since the onset of the 2010 period.
Confirmed transactions also improved for the second consecutive week following the closing of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games with 50 confirmed sales (up from 38 sales in the previous period); Dunbar (5 sales), Point Grey (6 sales), and South Granville (8 sales) remain active.
