We would like to present ‘Westside Detached Stat Package’ for the week of May 17 - May 24.

New detached listing supply on the Westside trended downwards this week after posting quarterly highs during the first three weeks of May.  We saw 72 new detached listings across the Westside with South Granville and Dunbar leading the way with 9 and 8 new detached listings in each respective neighbourhood. 

Confirmed detached sales transactions also trended downwards, though to a far lesser degree; as we moved closer to equilibrium conditions on the Westside.  This past week we saw 37 confirmed detached sales in the Westside nieghbourhoods with South Granville and Dunbar again leading the way with 5 sales in each neighbourhood.

Decreases in supply volume as we approach the summer months is fairly regular, as most Westside neighbourhoods demonstrate market softening during the high-Summer months.  This effect can be attributed mostly to summer vacations, scheduling, and buyer activity.
