Westside Vancouver Attached Property Market Update : January 18 - January 25

Both new listing supply and confirmed sales continued to trend upwards this past week as we move to recover from the 'holiday lull' which has persisted since mid-December. Vancouver West as a whole saw 273 new attached listings this past week with 120 (44%) of these falling in the Westside neighbourhoods (compared to 43% in the previous week). Kitsilano and Fairview continued to be strong points of supply on the Westside; with 26 new attached listings in Kitsilano, and 22 new attached listings in Fairview.
We witnessed 83 confirmed sales over all of Vancouver West this past week (up from 61 confirmed sales in the previous week). The Westside contributed 25 confirmed attached sales or 30% of all confirmed attached sales in Vancouver West.
Despite an upwards trend in sales transactions our listing ratio remained 'supply dominated' with 83 : 273 sales to listings or a 30% saturation rate.
The 120 new active attached listings on the Westside were distributed as follows:

The Westisde neighbourhoods accounted for 120 : 273 or 44% of overall Vancouver West attached new listings from January 18 - January 25.
This past week there were 83 sold attached listings in the Vancouver West Region with 25 falling in the Westside neighbourhoods. Please note if your neighbourhood is not included in the weekly list it indicates there were zero (0) sales in your area for that period.
